Places are now available on a worst-case execution time (WCET) training course to be held in Canada in May 2012. This five-day course illustrates how to use Rapita’s RapiTime and RTBx hardware for worst-case execution time analysis and performance engineering. Presented by Dr. Guillem Bernat and Dr. Paul Emberson of Rapita Systems, the course provides a detailed understanding of:
- execution time, profiling and worst-case analysis;
- different WCET approaches;
- software optimization techniques and styles;
- testing for WCET analysis;
- the impact of different advanced hardware features in worst-case execution time, including analysis of caches, pipelines, buses and multicores.
Guillem is acknowledged as one of the world's leading experts on worst-case execution time analysis. He is a major contributor to the theory of probabilistic timing analysis for real-time systems and the architect of the RapiTime tool-set. Guillem is the founder and CEO of Rapita Systems Ltd., a spin-off company from the University of York, transferring measurement-based worst-case execution time analysis technology into commercial practice. Paul is a Senior Software FAE who travels the world helping customers integrate Rapita products into their critical real-time embedded systems. Dates: May 21st to 25th 2012 Location: University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON To book your place, visit http://www.cmc.ca/en/NewsAndEvents/Events/RapitaTraining.aspx
