Dan McClung is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Rapita Systems, Inc. (USA). Dan has worked in the embedded electronics industry for over 40 years in both technical and commercial roles. Prior to becoming CEO at Rapita, Dan worked for 10 years as VP Engineering Solutions at Rapita’s parent company Danlaw, Inc. with P&L responsibility for a division that included a diverse range of V2X solutions, engineering tools, services projects, testing lab operations and aerospace V&V.
Prior to Dan’s time at Danlaw, he co-owned and ran his own industrial automation controls and test & measurement firm. Dan’s mix of technical and commercial ability positions him uniquely to deliver the next phase of growth for Rapita. Dan’s education includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Wayne State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
