Rapita Systems was founded in 2004, as a spin-off from the University of York, by Dr. Guillem Bernat, Dr. Ian Broster and Dr. Antoine Colin. Rapita Systems Ltd is the UK arm of the Rapita Systems brand, with offices located in York, UK, where 50+ employees are based.
Development of the Rapita Verification Suite (RVS) toolset is managed in York. Other business units include a multicore team, SQA, sales, marketing and operations.
