Rapita Director invited to give lecture to York Safety Critical Systems MSc course

Rapita Director Dr Ian Broster will be giving a lecture on worst case execution time analysis to the University of York Diploma in Safety Critical Systems Engineering on 18th December 2008. He will be explaining the techniques for analysing software execution time including profiling, measurements and static analysis. Tool support will be discussed. The course will also explain techniques for optimization of safety-critical software, including how to find opportunities for optimization and the difference between worst case optimization and average case optimization.
