The Safety Critical Systems Club is hosting a tutorial by Professor Alan Burns on 24th September 2009 at the Bloomsbury Hotel, London.
His tutorial, Scheduling and Timing Analysis for Safety-Critical Real-Time Systems, will focus on the verification of the timing properties of safety-critical real-time systems. It will look at the standard ways of scheduling and analysing the concurrent software that typically executes within embedded systems. These techniques are crucial for safety-critical systems where there is a need for a high level of assurance that timing constraints will be satisfied in all, even rare, situations.
