York, UK, 16th March 2011
The 2nd International Real-Time Scheduling Open Problems Seminar (RTSOPS 2011) promotes the exchange of ideas and the discussion of interesting unsolved problems in real-time scheduling. Submissions are now being invited from anyone who wishes to take part.
The seminar has two key elements: presentations on unsolved problems in real-time scheduling, and collaboration sessions which give participants the opportunity to interact in small groups, exchange ideas with the presenters, explore how the problems might be solved, and take the first steps towards a solution.
Authors of open problem submissions from last year’s RTSOPS will also have the chance to submit short status reports on progress made towards a solution to their open problem.
Co-chaired by Rob Davis of Rapita Systems and the University of York and Nathan Fisher from Wayne State University, USA, RTSOPS 2011 takes place on 5th July 2011 in Porto, Portugal.
The seminar will be held in conjunction with the 23rd Euromicro International Conference on Real-Time Systems from July 6th – 8th 2011.
RTSOPS 2011 aims to promote a spirit of co-operation and collaboration within the real-time scheduling community. For more details about the seminar and the call for submissions (closing date 29th April 2011) visit http://www.cs.wayne.edu/~fishern/Meetings/rtsops2011/
