RapiTime is to feature in a paper at the forthcoming SAE 2011 World Congress & Exhibition.
The April 2011 event in Detroit will see Rafael Zalman of Infineon Technologies AG present a paper on “Timing Correctness in Safety-related Automotive Software”.
Dr Paul Emberson of Rapita Systems co-authored the paper using his knowledge of our RapiTime tool and how it can lower the time and effort required to conduct worst-case execution time studies.
The paper describes how RapiTime analysed the timing behaviour of SafeTcore drivers on TriCore microcontrollers. Understanding the behaviour of these drivers is important because they are intended to support safety critical architectures and to be qualifiable to ISO 26262.
