Rapita Systems are pleased to be attending the SYSGO Day 2016, an exclusive platform for software, hardware and certification specialists in the embedded industry and beyond.
Ian Hodgson and Dr. Antoine Colin from Rapita will be presenting on testing safety critical systems and probabilistic worst-case execution time analysis with results from the PROXIMA project. The PROXIMA project provides software timing analysis using probabilistic analysis for many-core and multi-core critical real-time embedded systems and will enable cost-effective verification of software timing analysis including worst case execution time.
Rapita and SYSGO have been in partnership since 2012. Building on this relationship, customers using the Rapita Verification Suite (RVS) can measure worst-case execution time, code coverage and perform system/unit testing on applications running under PikeOS.
Both Rapita and SYSGO work in safety-critical industries with certification needs, such as Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Electronic, Defense, Industrial Automation, Medical, Network Infrastructure and Transportation. This built the foundation of their partnership and will help both companies to provide better solutions to their common customers as they work on the same projects.
About Rapita Systems
Rapita Systems develops software tools to evaluate the timing performance and test effectiveness of critical real-time embedded systems in industries such as aerospace and automotive engineering. Rapita Verification Suite (RVS) tools increase the efficiency of testing processes; aid identification of performance bottlenecks in the typical resource constrained embedded environment; and reduce the cost of measuring, verifying and optimizing C, C++ and Ada code during on-target development and testing. Composed of dedicated aerospace and automotive variants, each with on-target timing verification (RapiTime) and on-target code coverage measurement (RapiCover) tools, RVS is the streamlined and cost-effective way to conduct on-target timing verification, optimization and code coverage.
About SYSGO
SYSGO provides operating system technology, middleware, and software services for the real-time and embedded market. A differentiating capability of SYSGO is the SSV (Safe and Secure Virtualization) platform PikeOS, a paravirtualization operating system which is built upon a small, fast, and safe microkernel. It supports the co-existence of independent operating system personalities on a single platform, including ELinOS, SYSGO’s embedded Linux distribution. SYSGO supports international customers with services for embedded Linux, real-time capabilities and certification for safety-critical applications. Markets include Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Automation, Automotive, Transportation and Network Infrastructure. Customers include Airbus, EADS, Thales, Daimler, Raytheon, Samsung, Rheinmetall, Rockwell-Collins, Nokia Siemens, B. Braun and Rohde & Schwarz. SYSGO has facilities in Germany, France, The Czech Republic and North America, and offers a global distribution and support network, including Europe and the Pacific Rim.
