The ISOLDE project was launched in June 2023 with the aim of demonstrating high performance RISC-V processing systems and platforms providing an industrial-grade open-source support for their development, verification and maintenance in sectors such as automotive, space and IoT.
Bringing together more than 40 partners including large industries, small/medium enterprises, and academic institutions from 9 different European countries, ISOLDE aims to support the digital transformation of all economic and societal sectors. This includes progressing the transition towards a climate neutral and digital Europe.
The Rapita Systems multicore team in Barcelona will contribute to the project, investigating safety certification requirements, through observation and analysis to achieve recognised standards, focusing on the challenging area of multicore processors in use across identified industry sectors. ISOLDE is a Chips JU project.
More information is available on the ISOLDE project website and you can follow the ISOLDE project on LinkedIn.
The ISOLDE project, nr. 101112274 is supported by the Chips Joint Undertaking and its members Austria, Czechia, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
