Rapita Systems is pleased to announce the completion of the RapiTime Object Code Analyser (ROCA) research project.
During this 18-month project, funded by the National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme (NATEP), Rapita Systems has been developing a tool to perform instrumentation-free worst-case execution time (WCET) analysis on object code. The prototype tool was used to generate WCET metrics and reports from a representative case study by exploiting the branch-tracing capabilities of the VISIUMCORE hardware. A qualification argument was also developed showing that it should be feasible to qualify the tool for use in DO-178B/C projects.
Rapita Systems would like to thank NATEP for funding the project, and its partners, which include University of York and Rolls-Royce, for their collaboration.
The prototype object code analyser will be developed further by Rapita Systems in the SECT-AIR research project.
For more information on worst-case execution time analysis using RapiTime, see the Rapita Systems website.
