Rapita Systems Spain is delighted to be one of 40 European partners involved in the ISOLDE project which was launched in May 2023.
The aim of the project is to demonstrate high performance RISC-V processing systems and platforms providing an industrial-grade open-source support for their development, verification and maintenance in sectors such as automotive, space and IoT.
Partners include large industries, small/medium enterprises, and academic institutions from 9 different European countries with the aim to support the digital transformation of all economic and societal sectors. This includes progressing the transition towards a climate neutral and digital Europe.
Commenting on the involvement, Antoine Colin, CTO at Rapita Systems said, “The Rapita Systems multicore team in Barcelona hopes to make a significant contribution to this exciting project. They will be looking at safety certification requirements, observation and analysis to achieve recognised standards, focusing on the challenging area of multicore processors in use across identified industry sectors".
