Rapita Systems' verification software is being used to verify one of the components of the Electrical Load Management System (ELMS) for the Boeing 777X, which is being developed by GE Aviation in Cheltenham, UK.
Rapita's RVS tools and RTBx data logger are being used to collect and analyze verification data to provide evidence to certify ELMS at DO-178B/C Design Assurance Level A:
- RapiTest is generating and running unit and integration level requirements-based tests
- RapiCover is analyzing the structural code coverage achieved by these tests
- RapiTime is calculating execution time metrics from the tests run on-target
- The RTBx data logger is collecting verification data from the ELMS hardware
Dr. Guillem Bernat, Chief Executive Officer of Rapita Systems Ltd., is pleased by the opportunity, saying:
“We are very pleased to be working with GE Aviation on this program. It is a milestone for the deployment of the RapiTest technology on this important and complex avionics system.”
