Rapita Systems Ltd, leading provider of on-target verification solutions for critical real-time embedded systems, is pleased to announce availability of version 3.2 of Rapita Verification Suite (RVS). This new version introduces RapiTask, which provides RTOS-independent visualization of scheduling and event tracing for single and multi-core embedded systems.
In addition to RapiTask, RVS 3.2 introduces a range of new features to enhance usability and increase efficiency of existing RVS components RapiTime (software timing performance) and RapiCover (structural code coverage). RapiTime will benefit from features designed to decrease pessimism in its worst-case execution time analysis (WCET), and enhanced visualizations of execution time profiles. The new version also sees RapiCover provide support for handling special cases for structural code coverage.
"I am delighted to see that RVS 3.2 continues to benefit our user base by improving both breadth and depth of features for on-target verification of embedded critical real-time systems" commented Dr Guillem Bernat, CEO of Rapita Systems. He continued "The heritage of our tools, being designed specifically for low-overhead instrumentation specifically for resource-constrained embedded systems continues to impress our customers, who are able to complete their testing in one build, when alternative approaches required several rebuilds." Bernat added "The new release places additional capabilities at the hands of our customers, without sacrificing this primary objective".
RVS 3.2 builds on Rapita's successful track record of bringing verification products to engineers working on critical real-time embedded systems in the avionics and automotive electronics industries.
