RapiTest gives you flexibility in writing your tests by providing three testing options: the RapiTest Editor format, which is integrated into the RapiTest user-interface, a spreadsheet format and a scripting language. These have been designed to address the major drivers of inefficiency in test generation, and provide a fast way to write complex but easily readable tests.
If you have existing tests, we can help you convert them so you can run them with RapiTest. You can also convert your tests between RapiTest formats, making it easier to get the most from your test authoring effort. As tests in the scripting format can include complex features, these cannot be converted into tests in other formats.
RapiTest Editor format
Create your tests directly in the RVS Project Manager user-interface. This format guides you during test creation, helps you generate stubs and local test objects, and includes the richest error-checking functionality.
Spreadsheet format
Use a simple spreadsheet format to write and edit tests quickly. While easy to use, this format is powerful, letting you test inherited functions, stub sections of your source code and use local test objects.
Scripting language
The RapiTest Scripting Language (RTS) is an advanced option that gives you access to RapiTest's most advanced testing techniques, and may be a good option for complex integrations.
