Accelerate your verification with RVS 3.17
Improved integrated test editor
We've improved the RapiTest Editor, which lets you write tests in a guided way within the RVS Project Manager. A new actions palette, support for drag-and-drop, and new keyboard shortcuts make it easy to add and edit test actions.
We've made it easy to get started writing tests in other ways, too. You can now generate test templates for RapiTest Editor tests, and automatically generate RapiTest Editor test vectors to check boundary values for tests of C and C++ projects. It’s never been easier to get started!
Improved merging of timing results
We’ve added a new utility to the RVS Project Manager to support the merging of timing results from different reports. This makes it easier to analyze your results when you collect them from multiple systems or at multiple times, for example due to parallelization for performance, or because you can’t instrument all of your code in a single build.
After opening the utility from any RVS report including timing results, it’s easy to merge timing results, you simply need to select your input reports from your file system and hit Merge.
Integration with DDC-I's Deos
RVS 3.17 brings support for automatic generation of RVS projects from existing Deos projects. From an OpenArbor project, you can now generate a fully integrated RVS project in 3 clicks. It’s never been easier to get started verifying your code!
The integration supports on-target verification for structural coverage analysis (RapiCover), execution time analysis including worst-case execution time (RapiTime) and scheduling visualization (RapiTask).
- Is RVS 3.17 backwards-compatible with previous versions?
Yes. RVS 3.17 is backwards compatible with previous versions. If you're upgrading from RVS 3.6 or earlier, however, we recommend that you set up a new integration to benefit from the improved project management features introduced in RVS 3.8.
- I'm running a wavefront version – can I upgrade to RVS 3.17?
